Device Description:
The Chip Classifier is made from a sturdy heavy metal base, with motor and control panel and integrated timer. A sieve set is mounted onto a moveable base plate, which is driven by a strong motor. The single trays are set on top of each other and clamped together with a quick clamping device. The movement is 120 mm and the revolving speed is 160 cycles per minute.
Test Description:
Place the weighed wooden chips (approx. 8 – 10 l) with help of a basket into the top tray. Switch on the motor. The set of trays is shaken forwards and backwards for the time set (e.g. 10 min). After the time has elapsed, the device automatically stops the classifying process. The trays are taken off the device and each tray’s content is weighed separately. The weight of each class of wood chips can be registered.
