Usage:
The ZAA 2600.A is an automatic film applicator featuring a capacitive 5.7-inch touchscreen. It offers a multilingual user interface and allows you to store multiple application profiles, such as application length and drawdown speed. Thanks to its modular design and compact construction, it is highly versatile—ideal for tests such as scrub resistance, washability, abrasion resistance, and scratch resistance.

This world’s first automatic universal device stands out with its modular design, enabling highly versatile use. It can be used for applications such as wet scrub resistance testing, crockmeter rub tests, scratch hardness testing, and drying time recording.
The application range is variable and can be adjusted via configurable start and end positions. Results are reproducible regardless of the operator. Optionally, the standard unit can be equipped with a special insulation plate to allow use with heated vacuum plates or heating plates.
Application
The ZAA 2600.A ensures precise and repeatable application. In contrast, manual application can lead to irregularities caused by varying pressure or inconsistent drawdown speeds.

Operation
- Select the appropriate applicator.
- Choose the suitable base (glass surface, rubber-coated fabric for spiral and profiled wire bars, or a vacuum plate).
- Secure the desired substrate (e.g., a test chart) in the clamping device at the start stop.
- Place the spiral or profiled wire bar into the device holder and secure it with the weight.
- Position other applicators in front of the weight support.
- Set the desired application length and drawdown speed.
- Pour the test product in front of the applicator.
- Start the application process.
- After application, remove the weight, applicator, and substrate.
